Problem is as in title. When I open Apex Legends, the game asks me to "Register", I click the button, it takes me to a page telling me I need to change my password. I changed my password, however this did not fix the issue.
Yes this works for me....in the ORIGIN launcher, not in the STEAM launcher, this guy ask "how to" in steam
Anyone have a resolution to this issue?

I have this exact problem on my Steam version I've changed the password like 6 times and still tells me to change it. stuck for a month now. I had to download the Origin version and i can play, my content and everything is gone i have to start over which sucks *. I've paid money for this game and Origin could not help in the least bit.
So I had this issue and got it resolved. Turns out I had another origin account linked to my steam than my main origin account to play apex and I had a password issue with that account I forgot I linked to steam. So make sure you check if you reset the password of the origin account that is actually linked with your steam.
