I re-adjusted some things with my EA acc; Will cross-progression still occur?

Earlier today, I linked my Steam and PS4 accounts to my EA account. In this account, I already have my Xbox account linked. I've seen things about how progress can be lost from unlinking/relinking accounts, but I wasn't worried about this since a majority of my cosmetics, items, etc. were on the Xbox account, which was not moved. I play on PC now. I play on Apex through Steam, so my goal, ultimately, is to have all of my accounts merge so that I can have ALL of my game data on PC. I am now starting to become a bit concerned because, after re-linking the accounts, I entered my game and realized that all of my progress on my Steam account had been reset. I have not received the cross-progression prompt yet, so at first, I wasn't concerned. Plus, I didn't have much to lose on the Steam account in the first place, so I didn't really care. However, now I fear that maybe I messed up something and caused my Steam account to reset entirely. My problem with this is that I don't know if Respawn will count this as me creating an account after October 26th, which would then prevent cross-progression from being initiated. Could this possibly be the case, or can I relax and just continue to wait patiently until cross-progression kicks in for me? Please read and thank you.
