Is there a bug regarding select fire and Sentinel charging?

When I first jumped into the Legacy update, the first thing I did was hit the firing range. I tried out a few guns, and immediately noticed I was having issues swapping between different fire modes for guns, up until it just stopped swapping all together and leaving it stuck in one mode. This was for every gun, from Bochek, to Triple Take, to Prowler, every one of them.

Given that the servers were still dealing with strain from all the people trying to play, I assumed it was just that, and I never saw it again until earlier when I couldn't charge up my Sentinel in Arena, even though I bought plenty of cells for that reason alone. Is this a bug or just me?

@EA_Atic Only once so far, as mentioned in my post, I couldn't charge up my Sentinel in Arena. Other than that, haven't ran into the issue except for that other time in practice range.
