Issue with FPS after new Frontier update?

An issue with my fps on Apex Legends.

Hello, so after i downloaded the new update (Season 1) my fps has been "Off" lately, i used to be getting around 150-250 fps with some settings on high, after the update my fps is capped at 100 and 150. sometimes drop at 94-90 which i found odd.

My Specs: GTX 1070 8gb DUAL Asus, 16gb DDR4 Ram, i5 6600k OC at 4.5 ghz, i am running a 144hz monitor so i know even at 144+ doesnt really matter at most, but its still capped at 100 sometimes.

The game is running on an SSD
