Issues with full screen. Game wont stay as active application.

The game won't boot up in full screen. I'm not sure if the issue is my new monitor or not (4k monitor, but I run apex at 2560x1440). When I boot up apex through steam, I see the anti-cheat without any issues, but then apex starts I hear the opening explosion sound thing, the screen goes black, and then the application minimizes into the task bar. When I mess with the video configurations in the local folder on my pc, I can get it to run as windowed and borderless windowed, but not full screen. the same thing happens each time I try within the game to go full screen it just minimizes again. What is the issue? I brought this to the forum once before, and the answer I got was to delete my video configs from the local folder. At first that worked, but now it doesn't change anything anymore. The picture below is what apex looks like when I peek on the application from the task bar. any help would be appreciated. screen.

    @thomas_guy_rex yes i was who replied to your original post to delete videoconfig.. honestly i dont know why you are having issues.. try finding r5apex.exe and right click to properties there is an option to delete fullscreen optimization and go ahead and delete videoconfig again like last time

    in the r5apex.exe compatibility window if you find an option "Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings" maybe try checking it as well
