linked PS4 to main account before opening apex, cross progression not working
I had my PS4 linked to another account that wasn't my main account. After I heard about cross progression looked and realized that my PS4 wasn't linked to my main account but rather my alternate account. I unlinked my PS4 account from my alternate and linked it to my main before opening Apex on either account. I got the message on my main that cross progression is here and my accounts are now linked but it's been a week and my progress hasn't come over to my main PC account. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like your PlayStation account was originally linked to a different EA account.
This would be why you're not seeing that content on your current account, as progress cannot be transferred from one EA account to another.
That progress would still be on the prior EA account, so you would need to re-link your PlayStation account to its original EA account if you're trying to have that content restored.
