Lost all progress in Apex Legends

I played apex legends now for over a year after i stopped in season 1. Everything was good till yesterday. I play apex through steam. It told me that i was logged out of my apex account for the first time in a year. I didn't uninstall the game or anything.

Well, apex on steam told me i had rhe wrong password all the time even tho i could login on the ea launcher. After linking my ea account with my steam account again everything worked, but i lost all progress.

Is there anything i can do? I chatted a bit with the support and they apologized and told me they couldn't do anything. I spent some money on that account and i don't wanna give up on it. Is it possible to see if the account i linked with my steam account is the right one? I have some transactions IDs on steam when i bought some apex coins, but i can't ask steam support because it's not their game.

    Hi @695694cbfd642f3a,

We don't have a way to look up your account based on that particular info, afraid not.

You're welcome to reach out to support to have them check on any email addresses or usernames you can recall to see whether an account's associated with that email/username.

They'd be able to verify whether a Steam account was previously removed from a particular EA account, but we'd need to know which EA account(s) to check first, even if you no longer have access to the email address itself.

  • I have screenshots from games i had with the ID of my random mates. Can it maybe help to find my account with the heirloom? Also got a few transactions id from buying apex coins from the steam shop. It should be possible to see which account my steam account was linked to, no? It can't be that all my stuff is gone. You can see in the attached screenshots the ID's of my random mates. Can this help somehow?

    Hey @695694cbfd642f3a,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you've run into here.

To clarify a bit more about what happened, your progress is stored on the EA account, not on individual platforms like Steam.

When you were prompted to link the account again, this sounds like you've logged into a different EA account than the original, which is why you're no longer seeing your progress. This EA account you're posting with has never launched Apex prior to this month.

To fix this, you'll need to track down which other EA account email you may have used in the past and re-link to that one instead.

It's likely you won't be able to unlink the Steam account again since it was linked so recently, so you will need to contact support for assistance once you know which account(s) need to be linked.
  • Hi

Thanks for the answer. I have one question. Is it possible to track down my account through 2 randoms i played with their ID shown? And is it possible to track down my account through apex coins purchases on steam? I got the id's for that too, but i'm not sure if you could see anything at all. The transaction ID would be from steam and not EA i think.

I tried every mail i had and found 2 accounts at a very low level. Mine had almost 9k kills on wattson alone and probably 15k lifetime kills but i can't find it. The account was made on origin before (played season 0 and 1 before i took a break till season 15) and it has to be one of the emails because i have no other mails.
