Hi @LETHAL_stormer,
Were you able to try repairing the game to see if that makes any difference?
If you're using Origin you can repair the game by right-clicking on Apex Legends in your Library and clicking the Repair option when the menu pops up. If you're using Steam, try verifying the integrity of the game files and see if that helps. You can find more info on how to verify the file integrity at the Steam Support website.
Let me know if you're still having any FPS issues after that. Thanks!
Hi @EA_Kent
Ty for the reply so fast <3
Yeah I did verify the integrity of game files (as im on steam), but the issue has not been fixed yet.
Earlier I had an option in the launch command where the game fixed my fps that directly corresponded to my screen's refresh rate. So that way the fps never went down or above 60.
Now after the update I think the command is not working and my game has started to cap the fps at 60 like before but now starts to drop it below 55.
My settings are all on low (though i run an rtx 2060), the same settings I was using before the update as well.
This causes micro stuttering and small lags while intense stuff happens, which makes me lose some obvious fights.
I have tried reinstalling my drivers and even reinstalled my game, but nothing seems to fix this issue.
Please help.

@LETHAL_stormeri got the same problem , small lags micro stuttring ,, i did fresh install to windows , but nothing changed,,, the micro statrting get Higher from 20h GMT to 23h GMT , ,, i think it's the servers ,
im using ZERO at stream budget and LOW disabled to every settings possible ,, and yet the game lags ,
ONE QUESTION : can u check the Vram Usage and the clock speed of your GPU ,, if the Vram get FULL even in low settings , then my idea it's true ,, the game its EAT Vram
so when the Vram get full ,, the PC start using CPU Rams so , the micro stuttering started
i hope you make a check and give me the results
check Vram in low settings if it's getting Full after couple of matchs
check clock speed of GPU if Vram getting full or the game stuttering started
try this in both maps ,
and please tell me about your storage ( is it HDD or SSD ) do you feel any stuttering in lobby when the map changed ?- 4 years ago@The-Nazguul hey ty for the follow up mate. Yea so the thing is my game is on all settings and texture budget very low. So i was monitoring my vram and it went upto like around 3000mb usage after i started the game and into a match or two. Even my temperatures were kinda high. I dont understand what u mean by vram getting full. I have an rtx 2060 so its 6gb worth of vram. So i think it has never consumed full vram.
Yea i play apex on my 500gb ssd.
When map changes there's a small freeze in the lobby other than that i dont see any stuttering in lobby. Only in game my fps drops by 5-6 frames from time to time and stuttering happens.ive capped it at 60fps though.- 4 years ago@LETHAL_stormer wow just like me 3Gb of Vram in Low settings ,, thats means if you put settings into any settings above LOW settings , 100% the Vram will go Close too 6Gb of vram , im sure if you use your normal settings you used to play with ,, you will notice that the game use more then usual ; im sure the game now it's take more Vram , i notice the stuttering in Lobby to for 4s or 5s , and this time NOW the stuttering get higher now ( at 20:55 GMT ) i left the game cuz of the stuttering ;
my ping is 30ms-40ms
