Hey @Prinku-chan Do you play on Steam or Origin?
Same here, I'm playing on PS4 pro. After installing the update my game has crashed twice in the space of an hour and my console sounds like it's about to blow up.
Been playing non stop the past couple of days with no issues other than the usual poor performance, now after the "patch" the games unplayable. Nice to see yous have your priorities straight bringing out more overpriced dlc and skin tone sliders. XD
Maybe make sure the game can run without so many issues before farting out more pointless content that makes the game even worse.
Just wasted my money on get famous as well, can't even enjoy it.
- And right after I write my post on here it crashes a 3rd time. Ffs!
- @EA_Illium Playing on Steam, but had the same issue on Origin before too. Season 3 and 6 were the worst, there was some time during the last patch when I didn't crash at all. The latest update messed it all up again.
Tried all the troubleshooting solutions before (removing OC, changing drive, changing avx offset, etc.), nothing fixed the problem. It seems like it comes and goes depending on Apex updates. - EA_Illium5 years ago

Hey @dj-conflict If you are still experiencing crashes, can you try re-building your PS4 database and seeing if this continues?
- Make sure your PS4 is completely powered down and that your Dualshock 4 controller is connected to the console via a USB cable.
- Boot up the PS4 in safe mode. This is done by pressing and holding down the power button until you hear two separate beeps (about seven seconds).
- Once the PS4 is booted in safe mode, you’ll be taken to a menu with a variety of options.
- Select the “Rebuild Database” option, making sure you don’t accidentally select the “Initialize PS4” option since that will erase all your data.
- The screen is supposed to go black when the rebuild process is underway, so don’t worry if that happens. Depending on how much data you have on your PS4, the rebuild process can take some time, so be patient, and don’t turn your console off while the process is still going.

Hey @Prinku-chan Here are some steps to go through with PC and Steam to see if you continue to get crashes.
- Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Allowing Origin/Steam and Apex through your anti-virus or firewall
- Run Origin/Steam and Apex as an administrator (by right-clicking desktop icons and selecting 'run as admin")
- Trying closing other applications or overlays running
- Repair - Origin | Verify - Steam
- Clean Boot
- @EA_Illium I just done it there, rebuilt database, booted up the game, loaded into my save. It worked for about 10 minutes, then it got an error again. It's was constantly lagging, the sound went again and Sims dropped their tasks with no prompting all before the game crashed. Smart thing to do would be to roll this update back so we can at least play the game until you get things sorted on your end
- @EA_Illium I just realised this isn't even for the game I'm having issues with. It's the Sims 4 that's broken for me lol

@dj-conflict That's funny you may want to check out the thread below for that as we are aware of reports with sims 4 currently.
