Hey folks! I use a PS4 controller to play Apex on PC. It's worked fine up until the last stability patch, whereupon it's stopped working. It used to recognise the pad and switch the interface to PS4 button labelling as soon as I plugged it in and pressed a button, but now nothing I do works. Have tried two different controllers and multiple cables, and also tried removing all other USB devices, to no avail. Could this be the last patch fouling things up? Appreciate any help on this. Thanks EA personnel for your hard work in what is I'm sure a difficult situation!

@Konform103 So on the FIFTH cable I tried, it worked. My mind is absolutely blown that this many cables (all confirmed for charge+sync on other devices) didn't work. Thank you very much for all your help in any case.

@onionbob are you playing on steam? steam might have its own controller settings i believe

@onionbob are you using multiple launchers at once for example steam or other in background? maybe close those apps

@Konform103 Nope, afraid it's still not working, with or without Steam running. Even killed Steam with Task Manager to be sure. Thank you for the suggestions though!

@onionbob Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg

what if u move that file to another folder (temporarily).. and let origin create a new one?

@Konform103 Just tried this one too, and no difference. It really is very baffling. I have also tried repairing the Apex installation and it's made no difference.

@onionbob maybe try an app called ds4windows.. cant explain why it stopped working after the update..

another guy on the web said to run origin through steam.. so in your game library there is an option "add game " and then add "non steam game".. some list will appear and u can select origin.. let me know if that works

@Konform103 Thanks, I've tried DS4Windows, but it won't even recognise that a controller is connected. I think this may be a larger Windows/system issue. Thanks very much for your help.

@onionbob does the controller light up when u plug it into the usb port?

@Konform103 It lights up once, then goes out. Resetting unfortunately makes no difference. I have tried multiple USB cables and two different controllers.
