Re: Apex legends crash No error-pc

I can confirm that the issue is related to CPU overclocking. Hence, if it happens to you (me included) your overclock is not stable; so you have to bump the voltage of your Vcore or reduce your overclock. I thought my problem has been solved with disabling fullscreen optimizations but it happened again after 2 days and now I figure it out that the problem is my unstable CPU overclock. Bump the voltage a bit and the problem solved.
Thanks "CroL0co" for your feedback.

The problem is not your overclock or my overclock, the problem is that they once again messed the avx instructions stabillity with the new patch. If you read my post closer I had 0 crashes after the Season 4 patch and only after The old ways patch the problems started. This also happened in the past, one patch would be fine and then the other one would crash. Also my overclock is rock solid in every other game and every stress test (including those who use avx instructions) which put a lot more stress on the cpu then Apex. Before the season 4 patch even the devs said that people who have crashes related to the cpu should use a workaround and run an -2 avx offset whch basically means that your cpu will downclock by 200mhz when the game uses avx instructions and it's basically using it the whole time. They obviously managed to fix that issue with the season 4 patch, but now they messed it up again with their "fixes" in the new patch.

I know about the AVX. but I didn't know that Apex Legends rely on AVX instruction. Thanks again for your clarification.
