For anyone curious, I removed my drivers using DDU then installed an older one from the Nvidia site (from September) without GeForce Experience and now it's buttery smooth and awesome in BWM

I believe I've narrowed it down to either a bad driver install or the overlay for GeForce Experience. I am now back on the latest drivers and still nice and smooth
