Re: EA - Unfair - Network Disconnect & Abandon Penalty!

This is the usual network issues that have been going on since the beginning.

There is nothing wrong with my connection.

I'm only suggesting because of the instability with the Servers/Network, to have EA seriously consider removing these abandon penalties we receive unfairly when the network disconnects us.

    @EA_Darko

    I'm trying to explain that my network is not the problem. There has been constant disconnects and server errors in this game since the beginning,  that is the problem(s)!

    At some point in time you will get disconnected, and there's nothing anyone can do about this, other than EA improving the stability of their servers.

    So, if this ever happens, in the meantime it would be really great if EA did away with the Abandon Penalties when the Network disconnects us.

    I noticed a lot more posts on the forum over this issue(s)...

    P.S. And to of course be fair to EA, I have done all the troubleshooting steps before in the past, nothing works, or changes, because I'm not the problem. I also have a background of 20 years in IT, I certainly know how to build my own computers, along with setting up and running a proper home network, and I blew almost $300 USD on a Netgear XR500 Nighthawk Router to ensure I'd also have good performance on a router too.

    @xpl0its server hosting isnt changing anytime soon. I think if i remember there was like a 5+ year contract with the company hosting the servers from what i understand. Cant believe no servers were in California . I can never get lower than a 35 ping.

    Servers are so bad. I always get an issue and have to wait 10 minutes. Let’s hope the new season addresses this one way or another.

    @xpl0its i'm experiencing the same problem, this is the 5th game in a row and i'm beyond tired of it.
    My internet is fast and stable, yet it's always the "out of sync" issue.
    i've spent money on this game and it's beyond annoying that a game i've put time and money towards, gives me a penalty for the servers issues.

    The fact you can get an abandonment penalty for connecting issues and not pressing quit in game is a major flaw.

    I am trying to report a bug in your game because my account is getting ruined by your servers(I am getting disconnected and then getting AFK penalty like I left the game)
    Your troubleshooting guides are not helpful as I've tried the steps and I can't find any solution. Your system might get my main account banned because of your issue. I don't know what to say or do but I'm scared of losing my progress and all the money(REAL money) I spent on game. Can you do something about the penalty??? @EA_Darko

    @EA_Darko Why you even sounds like it's OUR connection's problem instead of ur servers seriously? How many time does he and the rest of us have to tell you guys that it's not our problems at all. Why are you telling us to do anything, when the problem doesn't even come from us. Sincerely EA, what is ur your problem.

    @xpl0its It's def the EA servers. The guy replying saying it's your connection is a clown tbh. We always have disconnect issues etc ONLY with apex and especially in "Ranked" matches. My connection is amazing, otherwise this would happen with everything I play which it doesn't. Fix this mess.. it's 2024 and still an issue.
