tried that, but my router is already configured to use dhcp instead of pppoe

When responding to a CM @lousef we would always suggest that you tag the CM in your post. 

If it is still not working then you need to ensure that nothing on your system is blocking it. Try disabling your anti-virus, Firewall and any other security programs and launch the game. If you see the same error then reinstall APEX Legends while running Origin as administrator.

False positives can really be annoying but the good thing is that they are almost always an easy fix.
