  • ok so i just fixed it i think, played for stright two hours with no crash

    basically used radeon version 18.2.2 ( saw it in another website)

    with command line arguments:

    +fps_max 60

    hopefully they fix this though as i would rather be playing on new drivers but this will do i guess

    Thank you for relaying that back to everyone, @g1g2_mozo!

    @hompalumpasan  @TwonMcFry  @Pauliusenko  @YKahveci

    Does this work for you?

    Also, try right-clicking on the game in Origin and select "repair." We've seen that work for this particular error recently.

    Thanks for rounding everyone up @EA_Blueberry

    I'm sorry but I'm not about to downgrade my drivers 2 years back because someone said they played for 2 hours without crashing...

    actually it's been 6 hours with no crash, i had one every two games before.

    i also tried updateing to a newer version but that crashed when i entered a game, wouldn't harm you to try it.

    i havent logged in a couple days, allmost broke my keyboard.

    i'l take a closer look tomorrow

  • @YKahveci  this is from respawn " If you are getting this error and use an Nvidia card, we’ve seen that rolling back to the 417.35 and 417.71 drivers appears to have fixed this error for MOST users or reduced the frequency of the crashes. "

  • i think i figured out why it stoped crashing lol what a bruh moment, the game is runing on my intel gpu, not sure if swtching to newer driver sets it to the amd which causes the crashing but ill look into it

    soo sorry guys

  • @EA_Blueberryso is the game supposed to use 100% of my gpu on the game lobby, cause i think this is what's causing the crash but who knows i mean the game was running with no crashes on my intel gpu which is lower than my amd

    edit: so i did a ddu uninstall and then reinstalled the driver which seams to have stoped the high cpu uasge but dx diag hung is still here im so furstrated, can't even play the game probably.

    i have i5 9400f so i dont have gpu for intel.Just have Rtx 2060.I just hope Apex developers and Nvidia developers work together for this issue.

  • ok so found an actual fix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8-EgUcrwOs

    adding tdrlevel to your registery, the game tries to crash but instead lags for two seconds

    edit: actually nevermind im so done

    edit2: okay my last edit, it did in fact get fixed it just the video is for 32-bit and im 64-bit so you make Qword instead of Dword.

    edit3: still crashing like a pro😎

  • so apperntly titanfall 2 had the same exact problem and amd released a driver fix but i doubt this will work with my gpu

  • okay guys so i finally fixed it and this is my last post about this issue so sorry about the spam

    i can't pin point which one did it as i did 3 things, but maybe this can help you

    1. use ddu to remove your gpu drivers and let windows update download the gpu drivers

    2. rest your bios to default ( i believe this one  actually did the trick)

    3. rest your radeon settings to default

    this worked like a charm and i actually updated my gpu after this to the latest drivers (version 19.8.1) and it didn't crash, and it's been like that for 2 days.

    here's proof that i actually made it to an end of game (have won 2 times since it stopped crashing, lets hope i can't get the rest before the event is over :/)

    @g1g2_mozo

    Congratulations on getting that Solo win and for keeping everyone in the post updated on what helped you out. All PCs behave differently but we generally see those 3 steps you posted above work consistently for a lot of players. Resetting BIOS is a task that should be carefully performed, but we've seen a ton of players mention crashes were resolved by updating it or resetting to default. I've seen plenty of DxDiags where the BIOS date is 6+ years old, so it makes sense that helps avoid crashes once updated.

    Thanks again and good luck in Kings Canyon! :eahigh_file:

    @hompalumpasan

    Let us know if this helps! 🙂

  • So is these mean 1) update my gpu drivers to latest one 2) underclock my cpu through bios(currently overclocking my cpu) 3) rest my gpu settings to default right?

  • I just undid my overclocking on my gpu and didn't see this Error for a day now. Hope it will work for others
