Re: Forced Merge, help me

Thanks for the added details, @Sythireau! Just a few things to clarify with that, apologies for the lengthy post.

Progress is stored at the EA account level, not on individual platforms like Steam or PlayStation. This is important because if you unlink any platforms from the EA account where that progress was initially earned, you'll lose access to it.

This progress cannot be transferred from one EA account to another, including moving seasonal or other items manually.

Your main account (the one you're posting from) has never launched Apex on any platforms other than PC. Additionally, we don't have any EA accounts with the username Syxill, or PlayStation accounts with the name Sevynthfold connected to any EA accounts.

I am, however, seeing a PlayStation username Syxill linked to one of the other EA accounts you originally mentioned. If you have access to the EA accounts in your original post, you can visit your EA account connections page here to verify which platforms are linked to each EA account.

From what I'm seeing, while it had recently logged in on PS5 for the first time, it's otherwise been connected to that account pretty much since it was created, and the progress that was made on that PSN account would be available on that EA account as a result. It would not be possible to move that content from the Syxill account to this Sythireau account, as they're completely separate EA accounts.

  • I havn't launched this account on Playstation because it's not merged, My issue is, I didn't log into my secondary EA account for the merge. I just want the seasonal accounts I worked hard for. As I have said, I have video proof of me logging into both accounts showing both usernames and showing that both accounts have progress. My alt EA account Syxill which contains 0 PC progress but has my playstation progress locked behind it.

I am just asking for my few seasonal items which is a few gun skins and like 2 character skins and then you can delete the EA account. That's all I want, the merge with my secondary EA account was not with my consent as you saw in my earlier post both emails are phenomenally different and there could be no mix up. The only explanation I understand is that they both share emails as I changed playstation accounts to the one under the same email as my secondary EA account.

I understand I'll lose all regular progress from my playstation account, as I've said before. I'm just asking to get the items I can no longer get back without having to pick and choose which of my accounts is more valuable to play the game from. I have already stated that this merge was done without my consent with an account I did not log into, I know you guys can transfer the items and I am as said before perfectly fine with proving ownership of all 3 accounts. If you check them, they all have the same IP address and always have been logged into from the same IP address. I just want the seasonal items from my playstation progress.

Please explain to me whether you guys are just simply incapable of manually adding items to a game you develop and work for, or are just neglecting the fact that this merge was done against my will and merged with an account that has little to no apex progress. If it is the ladder, then you guys are willingly slapping the <removed> of a player who has cared about your community since the 2nd week of launch simply because of a software issue.

  • If there is any possible way for me to get in physical contact with you through discord possibly to speak on the matter so I can provide proof, and better explanation I would appreciate that rather than just being given the middle finger and told my progress is locked into an account I did not even remember existed.

    Hey @Sythireau,

It is not possible to transfer items from one EA account to another, sorry.

The PlayStation account in question has been linked to the other EA account for its whole existence with Apex. I'm sorry you didn't remember that account existed, but that still does not allow us to transfer anything between the accounts.

This was merged because that's the EA account this PSN account has been connected to from the start. While I understand you'd have preferred it to be on your current account, that wouldn't have been possible from the start since the progress was already made on a separate EA account.

Even were this PlayStation account to be moved to your current EA account, no progress would transfer. That would all remain behind on the EA account where it was first earned.

I'm afraid this isn't just a matter of being willing to lose some things in order to transfer others. Nothing can be transferred between EA accounts, whether manually or otherwise. Sorry for the disappointment. Please feel free to check out our guides below for more details on this.

  • Okay I understand that and I appreciate that, the thing that confuses me is that the accounts have only been merged for like 2 weeks. Maybe it counts as it's "Whole apex existence" because I think the only time I actually launched apex on that EA account was to check if my items went there.

This is quite frustrating, do you know if there is any possible way for this to be righted? Both accounts are worth hundreds of $'s and I really do not feel like losing progress in either and having to choose which is a more valuable account.

    Hi @Sythireau,

To clarify, that has not only been merged for 2 weeks. That may have been the first time it was launched from a PS5, but the PSN account has been linked to that EA account for years.

That is the intended behavior I'm afraid, so there is not a way to change this or merge/transfer the content between accounts, sorry.
