Whenever you open a pack the contents will be added to your account automatically, even if you don't actually see the pack opening animation. 

I'm afraid I can't really help with seeing what was in the pack, but the EA Help team might be able to take a look. For more information on how to set up a case with them check out the EA Help website. If you prefer, you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.
