Re: Stuttering issues after genesis update

The game is broken and so does the new legend, i mean does Respawn even care for the community?

And the good news is (for some) there is a nerf patch for Seer coming out next week but I heard from several Youtubers who got to beta test Seer before his release & they all commented that he was too OP to start with & that nerfing him was a certainty so soon after his release .It also only adds fuel to the fire to the suggestion that game devs don't play/test their games properly & only seem to concentrate on 'easy fixes' when called upon but cannot seem to fix the more fundamental issues that prevent many of us from playing the game in the first place.

Wow, today I've been able to play without any problems. No stutters, no predictions errors, no high ping ... I couldn't believe so I have relaunched the game again to test it, but the problems came back again, which puzzles my mind because it seems that somehow the bug is related to servers or my network somehow. The better the server the less problems I have.

That would explain why after selecting new game mode or new rotating map for the first time the GPU stutters a few seconds, it seems like  a synchronicity problem with the servers.

Still having the 100% CPU usage in Lobby thought.

It could well be that you maybe experiencing network inconsistencies via your ISP but many of us are suffering the same performance issues across different formats like lag spiking, game freezing etc so surely the problem isn't that we are all playing on such bad networks & yet Apex's Data Center servers are somehow infallible. Before attempting to play Apex now I always test the connection speed on my PS5 & check out Data Center activity on various websites like Apexlegendsstatus.com & Gameserverping.com.The alarming thing for me though is just by observing the Data Center activities on these sites just for a small period of time clearly shows how unstable the game really is at times.

  • I agree with this. The servers are unstable. In the main menu, the servers always show that i have 40%-60% packet loss, 35% on a good day (ping 80-120) However, when I am in game, the game shows 0 packet loss which is weird af. Now mind you, when I'm at my parents', the in-game menu shows 0% packet loss as opposed to where I live. It's weird though, I connect to the same servers, and I'm not that far away from my parents. Idk tho.
