Re: Update stuck in Verifying Game Files
Reinstalling the game didn't work for me, but reinstalling Origin worked. It kept the downloaded files, so I didn't have to download it again.

I uninstalled Origin and re-installed it and it is now working.

Glad to hear many of you are having success with uninstalling/reinstalling.
As @That_Sooy_Guy mentioned, clearing the Origin cache may also help. Those instructions can be found here.

Please tell me there's an option that does not involve me uninstall all my games and reinstalling. 😞 I've been down this road before and it's just a day long headache. Cache did not work.
