Hi all. I installed apex on my old pc for my son to play on. the game ran perfectly fine 144-90 fps on medium settings.
today i bought him a 144hz gaming monitor.

This is on EA's side. Regardless of what any of these community members telling you that it is on your end, or your internet. It is a widespread problem on Xbox One, Ps4 and PS5 at the moment. Same exact description. Every few seconds the game just pauses and brings you back. It is very jarring and makes the game almost impossible to play. I have followed every "fix" from clearing mac address to saved data, factory reset, clearing hard drive, different account, new gamertag. You cannot suggest me another solution as I have tried them all. It is on EA to fix and as of right now they do not have a solution or arent even addressing it currently.

My problem is 100% on my end sinds the game runs good and smooth on a older smaller monitor... but when i plug in the 144hz gaming monitor it stutters every now and then.
Tnx for your reply m8... and lets hope for better high tick servers for apex🙂 It happens to me as well and I'm on PC. I've tried even changing priority by hand (first to above normal then below after) and I still get the same stutter. I get the packet loss emblem (3 stagger-stacked squares with the middle one having a dotted line) one I rubber band
A few days ago I didn't have lag, but now I am. I live with my mom and two bros who game as well. One plays this on PC and the other on PS4 and they have effortless * while I have this happen...
