@NuclideZ There is info for a few of the main problems people are having. You can go back a couple of pages to see my posts and a couple of others. Mainly, there is an issue right now that causes people with even strong CPUs to have one core of it to bounce around at 100%, even though all your other cores are chilling at way less. Also, current versions of the game now load the entire file set to system memory when you first start it. That is 5GB-6GB. If you have an SSD, you should be ok since that takes about 2 minutes. Anybody using a non-SSD (spinnig/mechanical disk) will be screwed for like 4-5 minutes after starting the game. For the same reason, the third problem is that the game now needs more than 8GB of ram for that to happen or your system will just be memory swapping constantly with your hard disk causing horrible performance.
With so many players, obviously there are other issues that are not related to these, but these above are probably the main ones they are working on right now.

@lPumpsDadl Thank you for the reply! It looks like my original thread was just merged into this single thread, so I hope the issue on XBox One still falls under the same umbrella. I don't play on PC, and my other friends that play on console don't have this stuttering/freezing problem unless they play on XBox One ☹️
I will add some traffic to the reddit thread though, nonetheless. Thank you!

The quickest way to get this to the dev team is to post it to reddit. I made a post here:

go and comment and upvote it for visibility
- 4 years ago@NuclideZ Not familiar with consoles, sorry. What type of hard disk do they use? I'm sure they're all different, PS4, PS5, Xbox versions, etc....
If any of those use spinning disks, the game will suck. Also if any of those have less than 8GB, same thing. I would think they would make the console versions load differently than the PC versions, but as I mentioned, I'm dumb when it comes to consoles since I've never used them.- 4 years ago
Well... after about 3 weeks of playable game performance made the mistake of disturbing this delicate fecal snowflake of a game by updating my video drivers and I went from a tiny bit of CPU headroom to this... 100% 100% of the time in game.
- 4 years agosupport should be interested in it and may let the developers know somehow, there are already 71 pages.
