Stuttering issues after genesis update
The game has become impossible to play as it sttuters even on champion screem. I skip frames in fights. Cant even play arenas. I am on origin. I repaired the game with lastest nvidia drivers. Sea...

I've installed and tried the game once again, when i entered the lobby my CPU usage is 90-100% just like before but after playing training just to see the if the usage can be decreased by doing so and yeah it decreased to like normal usage like 20% usage or so.
Played 2 casual BR matches and it's still fine when i'm on the lobby, so i restarted Apex just to see if the CPU usage persists on the lobby. And after that no more high CPU usage, my usage back to normal and after played another 2 games it's still fine.
So i guessed it's fixed now(?) Maybe the high CPU usage occurs when opening the game the first time and a restarting the game helps a lot. Idk for sure but i would like to know what you guys think about this matter.

Also note that when i entered training the CPU usage didn't go high like before, it's normal now.
And now that i booted my PC day 2 of playing Apex after reinstall, my CPU usage is not high anymore. I think it's fixed for my case.
@NoJamBros21And do you have lugs when you change modes in lobby(how i am)? Cause i also got fix on 100% CPU usage but i have fps drops to 10-7 when i change modes in lobby(in game all is ok) and my GPU usage goes to 7%. Maybe i should reinstall apex?
- @Detrovich Ohh i also tested that and nothing happens, everything's normal for me.

i was trying last days downgrade//updage bios vbios but ofcorz no changes... how for some poeple format fixing that or some kind of strange methods... for me nothing working
- you're not alone, it's weird skipping frames, microstutter from game to game, it's just very hard to play, but that's something wrong with the game, also tried everything and nothing helps, and that's just a problem with this game.
Okay so 100% CPU is back when storm point rotates to world's edge, that's weird so i just restarted Apex and it's okay now. I've read in this forum that this happened in the past but is it still here?
yeah i found the same yesterday. And always when i switch in lobby to ranked BR all going up and cooling is loud. so sad
i used for testing old PC with i5-6300hq gtx1060 and 8ram only... no high CPU usage when i switch to ranked, its so strange i cant understand that who is affected with that stuff
It's still in the game, idk if has something to do with shaders, but everytime a single new thing comes out in game, the first 10-30 seconds it's to wait for this stuttering to be resolved by itself and the game it's smooth again, it happend also when S11 launched for me and my friends.
Hi, i face stuttering/rubber banding eventually very oftenly - i play EU server and have vodafone as internet provider. I have some package loss documented using pingplotter on 159.153.72.252. Sometimes the rubber banding does not appear, but most the time it is worse than with pubg at the first release. Seems there is an issue at the internet routing provider! Please check the routing company with your servers and find a solution to make the fps game work again - using a "Streaming" provider is perhaps not the best choice to get prioritized in network and ping responses....
but using a vpn provider did not change anything...

- @BennSauna for me it started in season 7 🙂, and until today I haven't fixed it, it just can't be done ☹️

- I fix my stuttering by reinstalling my windows and buying a new hard drive
- @Cheeseborgar68 That's not a fix lol. I already updated windows which fixed it temporarily, but it's back again. I have everything on SSDs, the game runs on an NVMe SSD, so not the issue here.
- the reason lies with the game, I also uploaded fresh widndows, drivers, config, I turned off hpet, the game is on the m2 disk, the processor does not have 100% consumption like most of you, but the game has a strange microstuttering delay, and this only occurs in this game
@L4JKANfor me is exactly the issue I have! Most of people here are confusing stutter caused by network, origin memory leak, pc poor cpus, and other instead of microstuttering provided by the game engine.
In a good status, good HW, good connection, clean OS, all updated, there is a microstutter in game, only fixable with RTSS usin it's own FPS limiter adding 1 frame delay!! Developer needs to improve it!! Using an old Nvidia driver update (before rtx3000 and nvidia reflex feature) setting up ultra low latency mode on nvidia control panel, stuttering will gone!
But old drivers or RivaTunerStatistics to lock FPS aren't the solutions!!btw that post have atm 900+ replays :D
