Suspended Account

Hi, i have been recently suspended for 60 days due to cheating in apex legends but obviously I have never done so at all. i filed a case to dispute with the terms of services team and they replied to me stating this.

Hello,

We saw some unusual activity on your EA Account.

To keep your EA Account safe, we have reset your password.

What happened and what do I need to do?

After noticing potentially suspicious activity associated with your EA account, we reset the password to protect your personal information.

We don’t think the suspicious activity is from unauthorized access to EA databases. We think it may be related to issues like phishing, using weak passwords, logging in from shared connections, or using the same password on multiple websites.

To unlock your account, reset your password using the URL link below, or select “Forgot your password?” next time you try to login to your account.

We also recommend enabling Login Verification, which checks for new or unrecognized accounts when you sign-in, to fully secure your EA Account.

You will need to reset your EA Account password to log in to your account and use the online features of our games.

SECURE YOUR EA ACCOUNT

Here’s how you can secure your EA Account:

• Reset your password
https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword
• Enable Login Verification
https://help.ea.com/help/account/origin-login-verification-information
• Update your EA Account information

Thank you,
EA Terms of Service

However, after following instructions to reset my password multiple times as well as enabling login verification, I am still unable to log onto online services as I am still suspended in apex legends despite doing all of the mentioned above. is there anything else that i am required to do in order to unsuspend my account or what should i be doing? because i  have contacted EA Terms of services for a dispute already, they returned to me with the following methods above and it is not working. At a loss currently Please advise.

yes, i have read up on the forums before filing for a dispute. The terms of services teams replied to me with the email stated above to reset password and enable log in verification but to no avail. i have contacted EA terms of services twice, and both email came back the same response, and both of the times I reset my password + turn on login verification have still rendered me unable to play apex legends as I am still suspended. Am I supposed to file a third dispute again with a chance that they reply with the same email telling me to reset password and enable log in verification again? ☹️

  • @Acryii_ It would be best to speak with EA Help after you have secured your account for future steps. Since you have already contacted TOS. They will tell you the same thing per email.

You can speak with an agent here: https://help.ea.com/contact-us/?product=origin&platform=pc&category=manage-my-account&issue=hacked-account

Let them know you have contacted EA terms of service and secured your account and need guidance on what you need to do to restore your account.

is there a EA support phone number that I can call instead of them calling me? the only option to contact Ea support by calling is to have a canada or united states number for them to call me which I currently don't have. i can call from my country with additional cost but I cant seem to find any number to contact EA support rather than having them call me.

  • @Acryii_ There should be an option to speak with a representative of the team and Live chat with them via these options.
However, if it's not available then another option would be to select their contact option via phone.

    Hey @Acryii_,

The available contact options can vary depending on your location and the current time when you're trying to open a case, so there isn't a universal number we can provide, sorry.

While the ban has been removed, it does sound like an additional step was needed to make sure the account was re-secured and reactivated, so speaking with an advisor rather than a ToS member will be the best bet here.

If you reach out this way, the available contact options based on your location should show up. If you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.
