Titanfall and Apex crash

Both Titanfall 2 and Apex legends are having issues; Apex kicks me out of my games and Titanfall just crashes. Doesn't happen with any other platform. It looks like Apex crashes because the anti-cheat isn't running properly, whereas Titanfall crashes with no warning. I have repaired both games, reinstalled origin along with both games and updated all drivers. I have tried running both apex, EAC and titanfall in admin mode. I have Avast along with Avast cleanup installed. Are those the issue or is this something else?
