Unable to leave game

Is anyone else having an issue backing out of games? Almost every game when my squad gets wiped I try to leave game but it just sits and says connecting to server and sometimes if I choose to spectate that then lets me leave but 99% of the time I have to close the game and restart it. It's super annoying and made me not want to play until it gets fixed.

    Haven't had to close the game yet but it sometimes takes like 30-40 secs to leave

    I am playing on xbox one. I've tried restarting the xbox and i've restarted my modem and router but same thing.

    @iim0keChronic  could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.  

    How to power cycle: 

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
    3. Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    4. Plug the console power cable back in.
    5. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn it on.
