Video memory leak / friezes / spikes
Hello. Since the release of the seasonal update "Genesis" until this moment, I have observed an uncontrolled leak of video memory and freezes(~500 ms), which became more significant with the release of season 10. If earlier it appeared once, in several sessions, now it is too noticeable and unbearable.
Also, according to my observation, some users call this as "a temporary increase in ping and friezes, lags".
PC:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER VENTUS XS OC 4GB
RAM - 16 GB G.Skill RIPJAWS V (3200 Mhz)
When the video memory consumption reaches ~3950mb, the game starts to freeze. This happens after about a few fights.
When switching to the lobby, the video memory consumption resets and is within the acceptable limit of ~2150mb, but after the start of a new battle, after a few fights, everything repeats again. The faster the video memory overflows, the faster the problem is reproduced. The problem is reproduced with any graphics settings, and, most interestingly, the "Texture Quality" setting does not affect, it does not even delay the memory overflow.
I have tried the following solutions to this problem:
- Installing a clean 64-bit version of Windows 10 Pro from the official website;
- Install the latest version of the Nvidia driver;
- Installing the latest driver versions on the motherboard chipset;
- Checking the integrity of game files on Steam.
