Year 2020 - Apex Legends Still Has Silent Crashes

Just like the title says.

I have seriously done eVeRyThInG that I have come across to try and get this game to not crash!

my current setup:

CPU: 9700k

GPU: 2080ti

Mobo: Asus Z-390 E-Gaming

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB

Storage: NVME M2

etc etc

I have lowered all settings, lowered FPS to 60, switched monitors from 1440p to 1080p. Disabled G-sync, lowered anti-cheat priority, defaulted my gpu & cpu to remove overclocks, reinstalled the game, reinstall the c++ files, reinstalled windows, tested my machines stability, you name it I’ve done! So what other excuse can be thrown my way to try and combat this issue? It’s been a year since the game launched and people are still consistently running into the same issue I am: Apex Legends locks up (freezes) mid match and then crashes straight to desktop. No error alerts/messages, no error logs, nothing! I have have all monitor software up; my cpu barely touches 80%, my GPU barely hits 50%, my temps across the whole build never go above 60C. I want to really enjoy this game because it’s the only game my friends and I play and now it’s just become too much. I’m afraid to even touch ranked because I’ll just get banned for my game crashing.

  • The game doesn't crash anymore since I've disabled loading intelppm.sys driver. That is easy to google how to do it.
