HOT TAKE ~ Can we please stop alienating CoD Players. From all shooters out there, Battlefield has always been closer to Old CoD (Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 2) than any other game. Battlefield has always had call of duty like infantry game play but with Class Strategy/Tactics, vehicle combat, and Large Scale Battles. Please lets stop pretending that battlefield is a Milsim game that has Realism at the Forefront. I mean we literally revive shot up players by slapping defibrillator on them. A game where every player has 30 parachutes that appear from no where.
On a scale of Milsim to Casual shooter it goes- Arma - Squad - Rising storm Vietnam - Battlefield - Old CoD - New CoD
All of this Superiority complex Elitist talk is awful for a community. We should be accepting of New players and Old time Fans.
What I can agree on Is the new take on map Sizes. these maps are definitely too small and don't feel like the glory days of BF3 and BF4. I think this is what's encouraging the skillful sweaty gameplay that most people are angry about. These maps need to open up a bit. far to many tight corridors/lanes.
Battlefield 2042 maps Were Far too large and barren, and people hated it. But EA DICE went too far in the other direction. Now in BF6 Maps Are too small and Dense. Please EA Dice just Bring back BF3/BF4 style maps. Also I don't know if its just me but I miss Levolution so very much.
Oziwald Ozwald We never seen battlefield as realism gameplay like squad or etc.. but we also didn't want to seen battlefield on Steroids /fast paced if they balanced it and not make it just another CoD imean the all world didn't talked about it in the first place, ain't the only one and I don't think you saw the video that mantion in the post if you do and your really battlefield lover you didn't even argues about it, but if you CoD however that it might matches you..
l_D3ABLO_l I saw the Video but its obviously an unintended exploit, the movement is not intended to be combined with vaulting and it will be fixed, I dont disagree with bringing it up, because this is what forums are intended for. I'm against the "Dont make this CoD" feedback. Lets be constructive about the feedback instead of alienating an entire community.
Oziwald leave the video to the side, there so many people noticed and not just me we all saying that players jump shot, drop shot, bunny hopping, and slide shotting every corner like cod sweaty players, and all those moves with gun accuracy of 99/100% hit.
