[ANTI-AIR] OVERPOWERED - NERF

You can hardly get off the ground no matter your flying skills, the maps that have flying vehicles don't have enough cover to ward off non-stop AA's and a whole squad of stingers. 

Maybe I'm crazy but the AA capabilities vs what flyers have available to deal with them is totally unbalanced and needs some calibration, come on lads.

    Yeah and to your point most air mains aren't even good in the air.

    My lads are an air squad but we're nasty on the ground too, we gettin tons of wins in Redsec, we always topping the leaderboards in matches, but we just love being in the air its fun. You can easily meta-abuse and 2-5x a choppers overall score with some SMG cross-map no-recoil playstyle.

    Air superiority is a beautiful thing in battlefield and it calls for a wicked battle between both sides air forces to retain it for your team. For immersions sake, In an actual battle, if an apache pulled up that ought to be a bit frightening no? They are powerful and dangerous vehicles

    In BF6 an apache pulls up, it's flying 10 feet off the ground cause it's gonna get 12 stingers thrown at it or a bradley or AA, and I end up blowing 90% of the apaches I see with an RPG cause they are so close to the ground because they can't get more than 10 feet off the ground without getting instantly killed 😂

    You know what lets just take off the propellers and make it so they can just drive on the ground, problem solved

  • Right now for me bothers mostly painted MR missile bug. But truth been told, maps without cover gets you locked instantly in mainbase. But as jet player in 6, some boneheads land helo on runway end to spawnkill jets in new game... Overall I can last well with jets pretty well, but that beepbeep amount is diabolical. 😅

    Ah, also air radar not working, can't see jets on minimap...

  • Yeah guys I think we're just screwed here - I mean look at the new map they released. Instead of balancing aircraft they literally made an aircraft farm that you can spawn kill them in. We're cooked boys

  • I recall my BF2 days... could fly your chopper off the carrier and do a bunch of kills, take damage... but still be able to either return to the carrier for repairs or land somewhere and repair yourself. Gone are those days... now ya barely get into the air and be locked on by 1/4 of the other team. SMH

    Exactly, BF2 was really well balanced. Man I will love this game forever.

  • The air space or “out of bounds” areas for aircraft on  all of the maps is/are way too small. Also the maximum altitude is too low for jets. 


    DICE needs to double on some maps and even triple on other maps the boundaries for aircraft all around every single maps.

    This would out the air game on par with previous BF games. As a pilot in previous BF games we have a huge amount of room to maneuver and dogfight  far far away from the objectives. This just is not the case in BF6. 

    Not to mention the fact that DICE put the runways for jets taking off on Mirak Valley way way way too close to the objectives. As soon as you’re taking off you get locked by AA. It’s like DIcE never made a BF game before! That’s so bad!
