Maps Need to be bigger.

I’m a longtime fan of Battlefield. I used to play MAG back in the days. I’m going on 50. This Battlefield is good but it don’t fell like the big maps and destruction. Being squad leader is really no benefit. There should be someone on squad to be able to call in support on certain game types. Example. On Blackwell map. The attackers have a hard time clearing all sectors. They’re too close. It’s a constant run back and forth. That feels like call of duty to me. It feels rushed. I like adrenaline games but not all the time. Pressed is slower paced but that has a lot of players that don’t play fair. I hope in the future we get bigger maps with water vessels. More destruction on buildings. These snipers have too many vantage points. Plus in war any building can be destroyed or leveled. Imagine that scene. 3-4 snipers on that one building in that small **bleep** city. Level the building kill them all. That would make the game so interesting. The map would change over time. Like a real war torn city. Bring more objectives to the games. Objectives within objectives. Like on breakthrough. Instead of just attacking and defending a or b. Have some aa guns that need to be destroyed so support can call in air support to clear out a zone. Or spawn the helicopters or jet in. That would be a welcomed add on.

  • I agree with your suggested additions! They would make the gameplay more dynamic. I mainly play breakthrough and I agree the maps need to be larger. The area between the spawn and target sector needs to be wider to help eliminate a lot of the vehicle camping, and larger maps = more buildings so they could tweak the destruction to allow us to level building. Of course more play area would lead to more space for campers to set up and not play the objective but I feel thats a player problem that all online shooters are going to face at this point.

To your point about feeling like CoD, they need to make the constant jumping sevearly hinder your accuracy regardless of your weapon / attachments, cause theres nothing more annoying than seeing that guy jumping around every corner then t-bagging after he kills you like he's all that.

The thing i miss the most with larger maps is having the opportunity to break a stalemate by grabbing your squad and flanking or trying a different approach to the objective. I know conquest has somewhat larger maps but its still very chaotic and most games end in a landslide for one team so it's not fun for me. Escalation is a cool concept with removing points but I wish the meter didn't fill so quickly so the games would be longer. I remember BFBC2 having games that went 40-60 minutes if it was tightly contested and that longest games I've had in BF6 are around 28 minutes

  • Bigger maps. Please.
I’ve played a lot of battlefield. I dunno, I felt like there was more forgiveness in past ones. Maps are super condensed, I feel like I’m always being shot down by something somewhere and I can never get away. And when I’m trying to shoot them down from the ground, I feel like I never can. I dunno, more than half the time I feel like a fish in barrel. At the mercy of bad spawns, poor field advantages and zero room for flight.

love the game, love what EA does but if feels as though they’ve taken a COD touch to BF6. Which sucks. I hate COD.

I dunno, being thrown against no-life guys at level 400+ plus I’m… points for them. I’m ranting. Sorry.

I don't think it needs saying that Battlefield 6 isn't for just anyone. It's either kill or be killed. It's simple, but what does that have to do with what I'm thinking? Escalation maps should be massive, not as large as they are. The largest is large, but offers few options. Don't you think that if the game is going to be about war, it should be over-the-top? I'm talking about enlarging the maps and adding the ability to use one artillery piece per game. I also want to increase the game time to two hours in Escalation mode. There's no way to use better vehicles for longer than a dozen seconds, after which the game ends. I mean, in general, the options are greater, but there are limitations, such as the small map size and the short time limit during a single game.

Adding new weapons and vehicles, I think the M142 HIMARS would be great for long-range support for Nato. And the Panzerhaubitze 2000 could be for the PaxArmata. The reload time would be enormous, but the blast radius would be large in both vehicles, enough to cover one part of the sectors on the map within a 10-meter radius. After that, for example, the artillery would charge for 30 to 45 seconds. Before firing, you would need to activate the fire mode so that the artillery could move. Otherwise, the gun would be inactive. These are just my suggestions, but I think that for wargames in modes like Escalation, it would be good on huge maps. Regarding the maps, I suggest adding new ones, five times larger than the largest one, which is two maps. At least then you wouldn't have to mention knowing all the locations in one round and getting rid of everyone in the second. The maps would be divided into three sectors: the upper one, which is, for example, a city, the middle one, empty fields with a few buildings, and the lower one, which is a rocky terrain with a canyon. There are several passages between them. What do you think? Would it be interesting or not? I'm waiting for the developers to see what they think.
