Battlefield 6 is a AAA game and has a budget accordingly. My guess is that the goal is to simulate a real battlefield. Player movement now is way off human movement. It's possible to get close in simulating vehicles, weapons and so on.
But the human movement is too fast. Player endurance and speed is like a bot now. Sprint speed should be roughly half of the current speed. It's hard to sprint with uniform, helmet, armor, weapons and backpack. The sprint should be restricted a max length, like 100-200 meters. Unlimited player stamina and sprint duration or length?.
Jumping up stuff - ledges and especially traversing multiple ledges. Like a
parkour pro, but the soldier has full combat gear and backpack. Which leads to zero fatique or stamina loss. Walking on ledges, climbing windows, sprinting, pivoting, running up and down obstacles. Inclines and declines should slow the player. Moving up ziplines in an instant?. Also this sliding and instantly get up?. Sliding over rocks and stuff?.
There has been done a excellent job of creating a varying and difficult terrain,
but it's not hard to move through it. Actually this ruins the
obstacles function in the maps.
There's should be an super slow endurance bar in addition to a medium interval sprint bar and a short stamina bar.
And this endurance bar should fill excruciatingly slow so that you'll not be able to sprint for several minutes after having emptied the sprint bar many times.
Alot of people is wanting bigger maps. But because the player speed is so fast, by implementing a sensible speed the maps would take longer time to travel through.
When jumping down buildings there's way to little consequence, you should get injured and become slow.
Delays:
Alot of events are practically instant when you would expect a delay. Throwing
frags is missing the pin pull delay. Taking aim, pivoting, climbing etc.
Aiming:
There should be a penalty for different actions during aiming. If you take aim
standing and then crouch there should be either a delay or sway in the aim. Same if you start movement. And if you're fatiqued from sprinting there should be a
delay or shake from heavy breathing.
Audio:
There should also be a panting exhale when sprinting and when fatiqued. And
there could be introduced extra movement when aiming when fatiqued.
Player skills should be improvable. With XP gain greater ability. Such that
you'd be able to improve on attributes and skills like stamina, aim, reloading,
Medic and engineer should walk and sprint slower due to extra weight of the
supplies. And Recon could then move easier due to less weight.
You shouldn't be able to jump up on truck beds, scale them yes, but not jump.
Scale wall/obstacle around 8 seconds:
