Purchased Content on EA app not Present when Playing on Steam?

I own the game on Steam, have my EA, Steam, Xbox, PSN, etc all linked perfectly.

Purchased additional content on EA app to get the 10% discount, but none of it showed up in game. 

My support ticket was closed because the agent didn't read it, or look at the order receipt from EA I'd included.

Has this happened to anyone else?

    Any updates, did you get your coins or you refunded the purchase?

  • Still nothing here. Still can't even access the game on the EA app. Still dealing with the support agents not even reading the tickets.

    In my last message, I told them I expect an actual answer/access through the EA app or a refund. No reply.

    I have the exact same issue with you, is so annoying. I have talked with ea support like more than 3 times now and he is saying that i ahve to wait and some other **bleep**, nothing appears ingame

  • This is absolutely absurd at this point. Still nothing. My purchase was Oct. 28. And EA support still won't even read tickets when I send them. Where are the community managers?

  • Hilarious response from the last ticket I put in (again proving they do not read the tickets):

    "Thank you for reaching out to EA. My name is Vishwajeet and I hope everything is working well for you.

    Please don't worry, I will assist you with your case today.

    I'd like to inform you that, sometimes purchase content does not appear in the game, when you play the game on Steam and purchase something on EA app.

    So, I'd request you to please launch your game from EA app once and then check for the purchased content.

    Thanks again for contacting EA. Have a great day ahead."

  • I figured out how to receive your coins. I too bought coins using EA app while having the game on Steam. Never doin it again but here’s how I fixed it. Support won’t do anything:

    purchase bf6 on EA App, sign in and confirm they are there, then close app and refund. the coins will sync to the entirety of the account even Steam then refund the game and put it as “accidentally bought game twice” or something. That’s how I finally was able to get my 11k coins and the refund hit my account in less than a week. Their system is beyond busted.

    Having same issue. Support was beyond worthless. Any updates on what is happening?

    That won't cause an account ban? Because trying to launch through RedSec's free download won't work.

  • oh god I just did the same thing without realizing. only because steam doesn't accept paypal anymore so i figured (like a reasonable person would) that if the game account is cross platform then surely the currency is too
