I disagree honestly. It’s not just about “being competitive” in the traditional sense. A lot of people play casual playlists because the overall experience feels more relaxed and less stressful.
Right now cheaters are a huge problem, especially in standard matchmaking. Casual modes with a mix of bots and players naturally avoid a lot of that because most cheaters are looking to stomp full PvP lobbies, not farm bots. That alone makes the experience way more enjoyable for a lot of players.
On top of that, mixed bot/player playlists create a completely different atmosphere. You can experiment with weapons, play with friends casually, mess around with vehicles, or simply enjoy Battlefield’s sandbox without feeling like every match is a sweat fest full of meta loadouts and people treating public matches like esports qualifiers.
Not everyone plays Battlefield to constantly prove themselves. Some people just want to unwind after work and enjoy the chaos that made this franchise great in the first place.
That’s why the lack of attention to casual playlists is frustrating. They serve a completely different part of the community, and that part of the playerbase deserves support too.

Cheating is greatly over exaggerated by players who can't stand there's people better than them.
As for experimentation? Just... experiment? What's stopping you from doing it in a normal lobby, KDA ego? I'm currently leveling every gun in the game to 50, and the only three I would call unviable are the DB12, LMR27 and GRT-CPS.
