Simplified Operations with epic reinforcements – calling on the community

Hello Battlefield team,

I’d like to share an idea that I believe could restore a key part of Battlefield’s soul: the return of Operations, or at least its epic reinforcements.

We know the original Operations mode in Battlefield 1 involved long multi-map campaigns and a full narrative. We also understand this type of development is demanding.

👉 Our request is not to recreate the entire complex structure.

What truly made Operations special were the epic reinforcements: Zeppelins, armored trains, dreadnoughts, super-heavy tanks… They created unforgettable moments, gave struggling teams a fighting chance, and added cinematic intensity to every battle.

These reinforcements don’t have to be identical:

Not necessarily a Zeppelin, but maybe a heavy helicopter, an experimental super-vehicle, or even an orbital strike mechanic adapted to Battlefield 6.

What matters is the idea of a “game-changing wildcard” that adds tension, unpredictability, and scale to the fight.

Right now, without such elements, the game feels like it’s missing that larger-than-life spectacle that Battlefield is known for.
