Solo/Co-op and the recent Portal XP wipe

My friends and I (in our mid 30's) were so extremely pleased to hear that Battlefield 6 was going to offer full progression in Portal experiences , we bought Phantom Editions of the game, no questions asked. We are big Battlefield fans, but, due to getting older, life, certain health issues and no patience for sweating, cheaters, toxicity and everything in-between, all we played in Battlefield 2042 was Solo/Co-op mode. Stress free, relaxing. We found our love for playing Battlefield VS AI bots, and earning progression within the game at our pace.

On release of BF6, we immediately made our own Solo/Co-op styled verified Portal experiences and were having an absolute blast earning real progress, leveling up, completing challenges, earning a couple of skins and camos so far (until now) while playing VERIFIED portal experiences where (as advertised before release) full progression would be enabled. This was game of the decade for us.

Now, XP farming servers have completely ruined this experience and the solution is to throw a nerf blanket over the entire Portal? Unacceptable. This was advertised and needs to be restored ASAP.

In my opinion, if you are playing verified Portal VS AI bots, or have Bot Backfill enabled on your experience, career XP should be left alone, challenges should be left alone but XP gain for completion could be reduced slightly, weapon XP gain could be reduced by 50% and battle pass XP should be 100% untouched. Better yet, add these changes to a dedicated solo/co-op mode,  but do not cap XP per match, cap badge progress or disable challenges like BF2042's solo/co-op mode unfortunately had done to it. This solves the issue for farming servers taking over the game and a large number of the player base can continue to play our way. That is what Portal is, right? Our experiences?

We have not touched this game since we've heard about these unfortunate and ridiculous updates to Portal. They need to be addressed as soon as possible. We love this game, but, we are already seeing a familiar case of early 2042 going on and we thought we were past this.

I know some of you will say "this is a multiplayer game, go play single player games if you don't like it". Well, the ability to play this way is in the game, so, what's the problem? Do not worry about us Battledads trying to relax, progress, and pop some bots. We avoid multiplayer servers, so why would it be an issue if we are earning progress VS AI bots anyway? We will never cross paths...

Please revert/refine these changes to Portal as soon as possible. We are hoping this update is temporary and only in place until an actual fix is put into play.
