Hi! I'm also having issues with constantly crashing. I thought I had fixed it after verifying my files but then as I was finishing up my Rook in the CC after about an hour, it crashed again. Now it's back to crashing every minute or so in the main menu. In one instance, Windows event viewer said the game was using more memory than expected & had a memory leak, but that's the only time anything showed up. I have also tried everything so far in this thread and no dice.

So frustrated that everyone in my house can play but I've spent 7 hours trying to find a solution or work-around for this constant crashing. Le sigh. Here's some info, if it'll help.
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag): Temptable (on Steam)
- Which platform or client are you on? PC and Steam
- Are you getting an error message? No
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... N/A
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

Reinstalled the game, still crashes on start-up. Everything is updated, I keep deleting shader_cache and nothing helps now.

Console users are in the same boat, me being one of them. Can't get out of character creation without it freezing then crashing.

Having the same issue.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800 8-core Processor
32gb RAM
SSD
AMD Radeon RX 6800
Game plays fine through character creation. 1-5 minutes into the prologue not only does the game crash, it shuts down my entire pc. No error message. First the Monitors go dark, then the tower shuts down. On booting back up, no error message. I have tried verifying game files, lowering graphics settings, disabling VSync, uninstalling and reinstalling game, deleting shader cache. Nothing works.- CoderlinaSeasoned Newcomer
I have the same issue, I also tried preview graphics driver from AMD and updated my bios.

Okay so update, It seems to be working now (not crashing on start), but here is what I did:
Quickly changed the graphics preset from Ultra (the default it was set to) to High. The game then crashed since changes happen on restart.
Once it relaunched, it worked. I then manually upgraded the graphics settings by setting each option to Ultra and what not, as opposed to the Ultra preset. I also changed the screen from borderless to fullscreen. - sjperonaNewcomer
Same. I have updated my graphics driver, restarted, verified files and still it crashes before shaders complete. I am attempting to play from steam and have a NVIDIA 4070

Same as cathybytes I launch the game to a black screen in the top left of my monitor for 5-10 seconds then the program closes.

I had the same problem and finally got it up and running by turning off in game overlays in steam, discord, and nvidia
