Hello, I've had this issue for the past three days, and everything I have tried has not been able to fix it. Hoping I can find a solution here.I just got a new PC. My laptop is unable to run The Sims 4 smoothly so I decided to upgrade. I got the PC, set it up, and installed the EA app, intending to download the game and all the DLCs I have, but I can't. When I go to the game page, it's stuck loading. Has been for the past three days. I tried looking at other games and it doesn't even give me option to download anything. Instead, there is a banner across the top of the page saying "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem." A little longer? It's been like this for three days! I've tried so many solutions, and nothing. It's still like this. Clearing my cache, restarting the EA app, repairing the EA app, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, running the app as an administrator, connecting to a different wifi network, lowering my PC's user access control settings, disabling my antivirus software, restarting my PC, ending EA background service with the task manager. Absolutely none of these solutions have worked. Thing is, the EA app is loading perfectly fine on my laptop. I thought that maybe having it open on there was causing my issues, but after logging out I'm still having them. I have no idea what to do and I am beyond frustrated because I spent hundreds of dollars to get a PC that will run the game I've been playing for almost a decade just for the EA app to go "lol no you don't get to play."

Hey there, having the same issue. Checked my firewall protection and EA is already allowed through. Like OP, tried all of the above solutions and nothing.

@SansGelatine yes and no. i can view their pages and add ons, but i get the same error where i can't download them or see any game stats

@hailie482 There are a number of network errors in your logs which is unusual.

I assume you have used the same wifi as your previous laptop that worked. So it is unlikely a problem with your internet.

Do you have any firewalls installed, or perhaps the default Windows firewall in a mode that might prevent traffic?

There is an app "Firewall & Network Protection" on Windows which has an option to "Allow an app through firewall".

Perhaps check that all "EA app" and "EAInstaller" apps have all the access boxes enabled.

Do you mind trying that, restarting the computer and attempting to load the app again?

@SansGelatine i am using the same network yes. i haven't installed any firewalls and my default windows firewall is the same as my laptop. i tried turning them off and then on again and restarting my computer but nothing.

@Deathofhorde so i was able to fix it! i just factory reset my computer and i was able to use the ea app and download games with no issues. my computer is brand new so i didn’t have any files or anything on it though, so i’m not sure if that would be something you’re okay with doing 😅

@Deathofhorde Hey, if you saw hallie482 solved this with a format of the computer. If you are seeing this problem, do other apps and games work fine? Is this problem exclusive to EA app?
