This error indicates that we successfully installed our game management service, but that it wasn't able to start.
Unfortunately, we're not sure why this happens, the Common troubleshooting steps above may help, but if not please get in touch with us on EA Answers HQ. We'd be particularly interested to know if the following file exists on your PC: C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\Logs\EABackgroundService.log.
As you can see it is limited. Ive seen random things fix it with more technical steps.
Have you made any other changes to your network, or security options within Windows?
