EA Customer Support Has Been Extremely Frustrating
I’ve never had such a difficult experience with a company before. All I wanted to do was re-link my EA account to my original PlayStation account after trying a different one — something that should be simple. The first support agent I spoke to never mentioned anything about a “Linking Pass” or any limitation that would prevent me from doing this (as clearly shown in the chat screenshot).
Since then, I’ve contacted EA support multiple times, and it’s been nothing short of exhausting. Not one person has been able to provide a clear answer or an actual solution. In several chats, the agents disconnected without resolving anything, and every time I ask to speak to a supervisor, the request is ignored. It’s incredibly unprofessional and honestly disrespectful to customers who are just trying to fix their accounts.
The most recent agent I spoke to couldn’t even tell me where the supposed “Linking Pass” rule is stated, and after reviewing the entire policy myself, I found nothing that matches what they described.
This has been my fifth attempt to get help, and I’m still stuck in the same spot. All I want is for my EA account to be restored.

There is no way around the 6 month period if support was not able to assist you with it manually.
