@ea.com email linked to Game pass

I have a subscription to Xbox Game pass and when I try to play any EA game on my pc I'm met with a 2FA code that's sent to an @ea.com email address. Obviously I don't have access to this email as the inbox does not exist. I tried to log into the account on EAs website by using my Microsoft log in information and changing my email to @ea.com and it worked but I still could not get past the 2FA which makes me think it was some sort of placeholder account that EA made for me. I want to connect my Xbox account to the EA account that I'm posting on which I've had for like 10 years now but I can only unlink it if I'm signed into the @ea.com account and cant unlink it on the Xbox app. I sent in a support ticket about a week ago and haven't heard back and I'm hoping someone here has a solution. This is by far one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with any gaming company, ever.
