My theory is, football games will never evolve because of pro players and UT players. They are the cash cow for EA and they want a football game that is a ping pong, arcade s* fest because it allows them to win without thinking, doing things quicker, almost muscle memory, which then has to compromise realistic animations and speed to make it work.
A good number of people, may be a lot, may be many, may be the majority possibly think the game is a pile of s* in relation to gameplay, **bleep**ty sonic speed animations, online issues, general bugs etc. but as long as the pro and some YouTubers have influence over EA, this tiny number relative to the 2m who bought the game, will make sure EA develop games closer to FIFA Street than a proper simulation. Because of this, this game will never evolve to what it can be, which is a closer representation of the most watched sport in the world.
