Clarification

Hi there, I was just wondering if I could have some clarification over how much influence the EA employees on forums actually have over decisions made? It feels too much like this entire website is just a ploy for EA to be able to say 'we listen' and then execute no real change based on that feedback. If one of the employees could flesh out whether they have any influence beyond just 'feeding back to the team', that would be great.

  • I'm not an EA employee, but from what I've seen, is the bigger issues tend to take priority over the smaller issues. If the issues don't seem worth the time or cost to fix, then they probably won't be fixed. The reality is not everything will get fixed and unless the community can truly get together to push for a change (amassing great numbers) than they probably won't even look at certain issues. The biggest thing they seem to focus on, is what the pros have to say about the game; catering the game for them. I know elite players also complain about the game, but if we're being honest, the developers probably give them a bigger focus than the average player. It sucks for the casuals (like myself), because we can't make good use of those types of changes.

TLDR: The bigger the issue, the bigger the focus.
