First of all, thank you for “listening to the players”. The result is impressive — FC 26 is now slower, heavier, more repetitive, and less fun than ever.

With every update, the gameplay somehow gets worse. The launch version was actually enjoyable. Now it feels like a downgrade. And no, this has nothing to do with graphics or ping. Every match plays exactly the same. Same pace, same scenarios, same outcomes. After a few games, you can predict the result before kickoff, as if the game is running on a script.

Your idea of balance is also interesting:

Skill moves are mostly pointless.

Long balls, crosses, and corners barely exist.

Tactical freedom is gone. Everyone plays the same meta, spinning in circles like it’s the only football move left.

Tactics used to reflect creativity and personal style. Now they punish anyone who doesn’t follow the herd. Player roles and positioning are also worse than games like FIFA 23, where players actually knew where to stand.

So if this is what “listening to the community” means, maybe the next update can simply undo the previous ones. Bring the gameplay back closer to launch, fix tactics, restore real player roles, and let people enjoy football again.

Because in its current state, FC 26 doesn’t feel like a football game —
it feels like a repetitive demo that never ends.
