Forum Discussion
I really admire your cool. When I signed up here for the first time to express my concerns about the game, I also started my posts with "Dear Sirs, could you please....blablabla". Post after post without any reaction, and seeing that none of the issues have been dealt with bittered me, resulting in a permanent ban on my other account for expressing my thaughts about this. So hat off for remaining calm under these conditions.
With that said: I really have my thoughts about the whole "we are bundling posts and do something with it" approach. At some point, a patch totally destroyed the gameplay, the whole forum exploded but the next patch only mentioned an update in some jerseys and haircuts. I really wonder what EA are doing over there and how closely they are monitoring in what the community is thinking.
Building on that, it is obvious that this whole 'patching and rebuilding the game as we go'- thing, is not working. Fifa2001 for instance was a far better game on release, than both FC24 and FC25 were at the end of their cycle after numerous patches. And FC26 is going in the same direction. Call me old fashioned but what is wrong with doing it the first time right and only release a product that you are happy with instead of trying to fix it afterwards? EA has the potential to build limo's, they proven so in the past. But they are happy now with something that feels like a Soviet Lada, shipped to Senegal where it's ducktaped together to last a few more years

Hi vldsdfz155
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate that. I can certainly understand how repeated silence or lack of acknowledgement can eventually wear down anyone’s patience. Spending time explaining issues and hoping they will be addressed, only to see little response, can naturally lead to frustration.
That said, I still try to stay calm about it. At the end of the day, this is not my product and I have not broken anything. I am simply a customer and an observer describing what I experience while playing the game. Of course there is some disappointment when the gameplay does not behave as expected, but I learned a long time ago that reacting with anger rarely leads to productive outcomes.
As the saying often attributed to Confucius goes: “If you can stay calm and collected, you are always a winner.” Remaining composed usually keeps the discussion constructive and focused on the actual issues rather than emotions.
I also understand your concerns about the patching approach. When gameplay issues appear and the community raises them in large numbers, it is reasonable for players to hope that those concerns will be reflected in the changes that follow. From the outside, it can sometimes be difficult to see how closely community feedback is influencing development decisions.
Ultimately, I think most players here are asking for the same thing: a stable and consistent gameplay experience where the systems in the game — ratings, stats, playstyles, and AI behaviour — function as intended. The game clearly has the potential to be excellent, and many of us remember earlier versions where certain aspects of gameplay felt very refined.
For now, my approach is simply to continue sharing observations calmly and constructively. Hopefully, over time, clear feedback from the community can still help highlight where improvements are needed.
Once again thank you!

In the last few months there have been massive complaints about how squad battles work, with the AI's approach seemingly being "we will bore you to death"
How did EA respond to this massive criticism?
They put out a statement in game saying "play on a lower difficulty"
Yes, EA literally claimed players were only complaining because they weren't skilful enough to win
Ignore the fact the majority of players were still winning matches, they just weren't having FUN doing it because the gameplay was simply that bad.
In the world of EA, who literally think that a "challenge" involves overcoming a cheap AI is somehow acceptable, they blamed the player base for not liking the game. - vldsdfz1552 months agoSeasoned Vanguard
SpartanLogan23 If I lose my cool, it would mainly be caused because of playing a game with low responsiveness and even lower football IQ. Like you said: a lot of players still remember the glory days. Of course 10 years ago there were also bugs in the system, but at least the game was fun, it felt more natural and actually felt like playing football. With how technology evolves, we should be closer to the real football experience by now, but instead we are further from it than ever.
I'm sure people wouldn't rage this much if there would be some proper communication from the community managers. Just a simple "Hey man, we heard you and we're working on it". Or even a "Can't be done" would also be ok. But just show that at least that you care.
Because when we rage, we do it for the love of the game, or for what it once was. If we wouldn't do that, we would have left a long time ago without looking back
