Yeah, in exactly the same situation. Minus the chat with ea live support. Apparently EA does not consider all countries of Europe of being worthy for live support.
Logged an entry here in the forum, logged (or at least tried to only for the to go into the void) two tickets in the ea support site and tweeted (yes i'm old) to @EAHelp.
