controller error

I connected my game controller to my computer via Bluetooth. However, when I start the game, the controller doesn't activate; it stays on the keyboard. This problem doesn't occur in my other games. It only happens in FC 26. I didn't have this problem before. No matter what I do, I can't activate the controller. It only activates via cable; wirelessly it doesn't. (I bought it from Epic Games and installed it via the EA app.)
