DualSense controller stops working only in online modes (Rivals) on PC

I am playing EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC using a PS5 DualSense controller. The controller works in the menus and in offline modes, but when I enter online modes such as Rivals, all inputs stop registering. The controller is still detected by the system, but the game does not respond to any button presses during online gameplay.

I have the same problem, I'm fed up. I have to quit the game. My progress is going backwards!!!
