EA FC 26 crashes after connecting to EA servers (works offline)

Question

EA FC 26 closes right after connecting to EA servers. It shows "Connecting to EA servers", then the loading logo appears, and after that the game shuts down and returns to the desktop, and the EA App window pops up after the crash.

The game works normally offline and only crashes when trying to connect online.

I'm playing on Windows 10, I have an EA Play Pro subscription, and I downloaded the game directly from the EA App.

Things I've already tried:

Reinstalling the game
Repairing the game files
Reinstalling EA AntiCheat
Clearing the EA App cache
Updating GPU drivers
Disabling overlays and background applications

Has anyone found a fix for this issue?

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your crashing issues with FC 26. It sounds like you've gone through quite a bit of troubleshooting so far. Can you get me a DxDiag report? I'll go over that and make some other suggestions. Instructions for gathering the report can be found in this article. Thanks!

Hey guys I've been having this exact same problem since 3 or 4 days ago, game works fine until I try connect to EA servers and I instantly crash to desktop with no message. I'm assuming it's something to do with the new anti-cheat for me at least?
