EA Games are still switching off my Xbox
Hi all, 3 weeks into FC 26 and writing posts and I’m still having issues regarding my Xbox Series X switching itself off randomly when playing FC 26 and it’s happened on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One version of FC26, with Battlefield 6 Beta also being another game that causes this issue. Other games I’ve played, Rainbow 6 Siege, Call of Duty, Minecraft have not made my console turned off.
Ways I’ve troubleshooted the issue.
- Improving Ventilation
- Plug now in Wall not Extended Cable
- Uninstalling and installing FC 26
- Clearing Cache and PSR
- Factory Reset - With keeping Games and app installed
- Changing Capture Settings
- Changing Idle Xbox Switch off Timer
All these issues and I’m still having these issues with my consoles turning itself off.
Gamemode Affected
UT - Rivals, Rush, Live Events, Squad Battles, Gauntlet, Draft
Career Mode - Live Event challenges
Clubs - So far Xbox Series X only.
I’ve seen myself and others having the same issues on the Ea Forums and Reddit. I’ve tried to have Microsoft help my issue but they have informed me that it’s an ‘EA Issue’ and can’t do anything about it and the troubleshooting solution that I’ve done have all been suggested by Microsoft and seen that I’ve tried.
I’m getting more and more annoyed that I’m missing out on moments and events within the gamemodes due to my console switching off randomly due to an accidental bug that hasn’t been addressed or updated. And it’s getting more tiring when I’m playing a game I enjoy playing.
So any help would be appreciated or just getting this post highly liked or comments to get the attention this issue needs.
