I got in touch with technical support through the 'Contact us' feature and they acknowledged that some players have already reported this issue (duh!). They said that a potential workaround is to delete the squads, download the latest squads and only try to transfer starting XI or subs, not the reserves. Actually, for me, it's the opposite, only the reserves don't glitch out... I told them that the same issue persisted in the previous title and that it was eventually solved. I asked them if they are planning to solve this issue soon and I was told that they will be looking into it (I doubt it). So, there you have it. They know about the issue perfectly well. It's a shame that nothing has been done to get rid off the glitch
